This election has been the most personal one for me. I never imagined I would one day find myself on a ballot, and casting a vote for myself was an incredibly emotional moment that weighed heavily on my heart. I did so knowing that my husband, Peter, and I had given this school board campaign our very best.
From the moment I shared my decision to run, Peter has been my unwavering support and my anchor every step of the way. He has always been quietly working behind the scenes, making sure things get done, often without seeking recognition. When I felt discouraged or afraid, he was there. When I was exhausted, he was there. When I questioned myself or doubted the journey, he was there. Through the sunny days and the difficult moments, we experienced this entire journey together. I could not have asked for a better partner by my side.
