I had the pleasure of attending the Rotary Club of Torrance Teacher of the Year Luncheon yesterday. It was such a delightful occasion and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the dedication and impact of our educators.
It was especially heartwarming to see Ms. Susan Eriksen from West High School receive the former TUSD Superintendent Arnold Plank “Teacher of the Year” Award, a truly well-deserved recognition! I also had the pleasure of chatting with Ms. Plank-Richard, a retired LAUSD educator.
Moments like these remind me how meaningful it is to recognize and celebrate teachers for the lasting impact they make in the lives of their students and in our community.
Congratulations to all the outstanding educators who continue to inspire, educate, and make a difference every day!
