It was a pleasure to attend the State of the City Address at the DoubleTree Hotel yesterday. What a wonderful opportunity to bring people from so many different sectors of the Torrance community together!
I had the pleasure of connecting with guests from the Torrance Police Department, BMO, Western Museum of Flight, Transit Department Regional Transit Center, a former school board trustee, Rotary Club of Torrance, The Volunteer Center–South Bay, and a few elected officials.
It was also wonderful meeting and chatting with Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi. I’m truly grateful to connect with someone so passionate about advocating for public education and supporting our schools and our community.
Events like this remind me how much we can learn from one another when we come together, share ideas, and build connections across our community. Grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a vibrant Torrance community!
