“She recognizes that supporting teachers is essential to supporting students, and she has consistently demonstrated her commitment to both.”
“I am proud to endorse Jennifer Mak for School Board. I had the privilege of working with Ms. Mak during her time as the Hamilton Community of Schools Administrator in LAUSD, where I saw firsthand her commitment to supporting schools, teachers, and students.
Ms. Mak took an active and genuine interest in the schools she served. She made an effort to connect with both educators and students, and her school visits were about more than just observing classrooms. She took the time to recognize teachers’ hard work and left thoughtful, encouraging notes for the teachers whose classrooms she visited. These small but meaningful gestures demonstrated how much she valued educators and the important work they do every day.
Ms. Mak has a strong understanding of what effective instruction looks like and what teachers need to create successful learning environments. She recognizes that supporting teachers is essential to supporting students, and she has consistently demonstrated her commitment to both.
I believe Jennifer Mak would bring valuable experience, thoughtful leadership, and a genuine understanding of the needs of our school communities to the School Board. I am confident that she would be a strong advocate for teachers, students, and the schools they deserve. I wholeheartedly endorse Jennifer Mak for School Board.”
