Jennifer decided to run for the Torrance School Board in June, and she and her husband began going door to door on Bluff Street. Since then, she and her team have knocked on approximately 5,000 doors across Area D. As the campaign nears the finish line, they are returning to several neighborhoods to remind residents to vote.
In Jennifer’s words
Bluff Street will always hold a special place in our hearts!
When I first decided to run for the Torrance School Board in June, my husband and I began our door-to-door journey right here on Bluff Street. We were humbled and grateful to listen to our neighbors as they shared their experiences, hopes, and aspirations for TUSD. Those early conversations helped shape my campaign and reminded me why community engagement and local leadership matter so much.
Since then, my team and I have knocked on approximately 5,000 doors across Area D, listening, learning, and connecting with our constituents. It’s hard to believe this incredible journey is already nearing the finish line! This coming week, we’ll be returning to several neighborhoods to remind our residents to get out and VOTE! Every voice matters, and every vote counts!
To our Bluff Street neighbors and all Area D residents, thank you for welcoming us, sharing your stories, and being part of this journey! No matter where this path leads, my husband and I will always treasure the connections we’ve made and the conversations we’ve shared along the way.
Let’s finish strong, Area D! Together, we can make a difference for our students, our schools, and our community.
How it started: Door to door across Area D since June.
